Drawing upon the groundwork laid in the first edition, this book has been revised, expanded, and completely updated to include the broader concerns of airway gas analysis and management. While the first edition focused on the monitoring of carbon dioxide levels in the body, the second edition now looks at the monitoring of oxygen, nitrogen, helium and the anaesthetic agents.
