Concentrating on mathematics, this book is one of a series intended to help parents prepare their children for the final year of primary school tests.

It explains the way in which the National Curriculum works, how the tests are structured, and which knowledge and skills a child is expected to have acquired.The book contains a wide range of questions for the child to practise, written in the style of the actual tests.

The answers are contained in a seperate section at the back of the book, with full advice to the parent on how children should approach the tests, and on what makes a good answer.

There is also a mark scheme which indicates how marks are allocated, and what is expected of children who achieve levels 3-6.
