The Heart of New Ontario

This book is a collection of vignettes associated with the development of the unique and complex cultural and economic landscape of the Height of Land region of Northern Ontario beginning in the late nineteenth century. The intent is to raise awareness of the region's history, including Chapleau and to develop an appreciation of the value of its cultural heritage.
