Murphy's Law : Lex Morphi

This is a study of the life of the 18th-century Murphy and how his career resulted in the discovery and formulation of the law that now bears his name - Murphy's Law.

His exploits, as he unsuccessfully attempted to establish his true parentage and avoid the consequences of his own fecundity, fully illustrate the workings of that Law.

This amusing erratum has several editors, all of which suffered unfortunate, Muphyesque deaths.
