In 'The Lie' (1970), written by Ingmar Bergman, married couple Andrew (Frank Finlay) and Anna (Gemma Jones) lead a comfortable middle-class existence, however, despite their affluence and comfort the pair find themselves growing ever more resentful towards one another.

In 'Shakespeare Or Bust' (1973), three Derbyshire miners hire a canal boat and travel the waterways of Stratford-upon-Avon.

In 'Back of Beyond' (1974) Rachel Roberts stars as a reclusive widow living in the Welsh mountains who has occasional conversations with young Rachel (Lynne Jones) who delivers her paper.

In 'A Passage to England' (1975), Anand (Tariq Yunus) is stranded in Amsterdam with his uncle and cousin when he is promised safe passage to England by Onslow (Colin Welland).

But can this stranger be trusted? In 'Your Man from Six Counties' (1976) Jimmy (Joseph Reynolds) moves from Belfast to the west of Ireland following a bombing that killed his uncle.

However, even in this remote location Jimmy's past is never far behind him.

In 'Our Flesh and Blood' (1977) Bernard Hill and Alison Steadman star as a young couple expecting their first baby and who consider having a natural birth.

Finally, in, 'A Photograph' (1977), Gillian (Stephanie Turner) becomes convinced that her arrogant husband, Michael (John Stride), is having an affair when a photograph is sent to their home featuring two women outside a caravan.

However, as she delves deeper into matters, she discovers that something more sinister is at play.
