Ghost Stories

Collection of four ghost stories based on short stories by M.R.

James, written and directed by Mark Gatiss. In 'The Tractate Middoth' (2013) young librarian William Garrett (Sacha Dhawan) is drawn into a terrifying mystery involving a book, a rotting ghost and a hidden will. 'The Dead Room' (2018) stars Simon Callow as Aubrey Judd, the veteran presenter of a horror radio show who realises that he is not alone in his studio.

Something from his past has returned... In 'Martin's Close' (2019) John Martin (Wilf Scolding) is on trial for murder, but the girl he is accused of killing has been seen walking around after her supposed death.

Finally, 'The Mezzotint' (2021) finds museum curator Mr Williams (Rory Kinnear) in possession of a disturbing engraving that changes each time he looks at it.
