People On Sunday

German silent film focusing on the lives of five young Berliners over the course of a single weekend, directed by Robert Siodmak and Edgar G.

Ulmer. After a row with his girlfriend, taxi driver Erwin (Erwin Splettstößer) goes for a beer with best friend Wolfgang (Wolfgang von Waltershausen) where they plan to spend the following day in the countryside.

They go along as planned spending their time with Christl (Christl Ehlers), Wolfgang's romantic interest, and her best friend Brigitte (Brigitte Borchert), but as they explore the parks and lakes Wolfgang seems to take more of an interest in Brigitte much to Christl's irritation.

Will the four arrange to meet again the following Sunday?
