Samuel Fuller: Storyteller - Volume One

Triple bill of dramas co-written by Samuel Fuller. In 'It Happened in Hollywood' (1937) successful silent movie star Tim Bart (Richard Dix) sees his career hit rock bottom when the rise of talking films gains popularity.

Can he prove once again that he is worthy of fame? In 'Adventure in Sahara' (1938) an isolated French outpost in the Sahara desert is under the draconian command of the ruthless Captain Savatt (C.

Henry Gordon) until the Legionnaires rebel and force him in to the desert with no supplies.

Will he make it out alive? Finally, in 'Power of the Press' (1943) a publisher is murdered due to his opposing views on the ongoing Second World War.

When his editor friend hears the news, he sets out to expose those responsible.
