First Men in the Moon

1960s British sci-fi adventure based on H.G. Wells' novel. In 1964 a team of UN astronauts travel to the moon only to discover that a team of British astronauts reached the lunar surface at the end of the 19th century.

While attempting to trace the early explorers, UN delegates find Bedford (Edward Judd) who claims that he and two others landed on the moon in 1899, where they were attacked by ant-like life forms known as the Selenites before escaping.

Can Bedford's story help the latest lunar visitors survive their voyage into the unknown?
