The Child in Time

Benedict Cumberbatch and Kelly Macdonald star in this British TV drama adapted from Ian McEwan's novel of the same name.

The film follows Stephen Lewis (Cumberbatch), a children's author struggling to come to terms with life following the disappearance of his young daughter two years earlier.

With his wife Julie (Macdonald) having left him and his closest friends Charles (Stephen Campbell Moore) and Thelma (Saskia Reeves) moving away, Stephen is left to battle his demons alone as he desperately tries to overcome his grief and find a way to move forward.
