The Laughing Prisoner

Made-for-TV comedy spoof written by and starring Stephen Fry, Jools Holland, Hugh Laurie and Rowland Rivron.

The tale, which affectionately pokes fun at the cult 1960s TV show 'The Prisoner', follows Prisoner Number Seven (Holland), a TV presenter who gave up his fame and status in search of a different life only to find himself interrogated mercilessly by Number Two (Fry) in a place known as The Village.

The feature also makes use of archive footage of Patrick McGoohan in his role as Number Six in 'The Prisoner' to add a flavour of the original to the mix.
