A Tale of Samurai Cooking

Yûzô Asahara directs this romantic drama set during the Edo period in Japanese history.

Oharu (Aya Ueto), who is known for her expertise in the kitchen, is asked to marry Yasunobu (Kengo Kôra), the Funaki family heir, and teach him how to cook.

Excited by the prospect as she will now have the opportunity to cook for one of the wealthiest estates in the country - the Kaga Domain - she accepts the proposal.

But will the marriage ever become more than just a practicality to the new couple?
