The Night Walker

American thriller in which a bored and lonely woman finds herself seeking solace in the man who comes to her in her dreams.

Trapped in an unhappy and loveless marriage, Irene (Barbara Stanwyck) begins to resent her inherently jealous husband Howard (Hayden Rorke), who spends his days whittling away in his laboratory as a successful inventor despite being blind.

When Howard is killed in an explosion, Irene inherits his wealth and moves out of their sprawling mansion in a bid to escape her living nightmare.

But when a mysterious man visits her in her dreams, will she finally be able to live out her wildest fantasies or will she long to return to the memory of her late husband?
