King Leir ([New ed.])

This work is published in the "Globe Quarto" series co-published with Shakespeare's Globe, marking the rediscovery of forgotten plays by Shakespeare's contemporaries. "King Leir" is clearly a prime source for Shakespeare, who may have seen it performed in 1605.

This version, however, has a happy ending with Cordelia marrying the King of France and being reconciled with her father.
