This book features the writings of Frank Bodman and reflects the fact that while he looked hopefully towards an ultimate acceptance of homoeopathy, he was not blind to its own imperfections.

One of the aims of this work is to introduce homoeopathy as it is practised today to orthodox medical practitioners whose minds remain open to new ideas.

Bodman's original texts have been adhered to in as far as possible, and in those places where overlap remains it derives from the fact that Bodman was eminent in fields outside homoeopathy and had the ability to look at the same subject from many different angles.
