Hummie's Great Adventure

Hummie's journey is an opportunity for young children and for parents and teachers to learn about and discuss migration, an integral part of nature.

Many species, including humans, migrate for the same reason: to find a better environment to raise their young and protect their families . . . in other words, to survive. This book may be used to talk to children about the necessity of migration and to research the variety of birds, insects and other animals that migrate annually.

One of the wonders of nature, migration is a requirement for many species, as well as for the survival of life on earth.
