Technology : Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 - A Report by H.M.Inspectorate - First Year, 1990-91

The national curriculum requirements for technology cover design and technology capability (D&T) and information technology capability (IT).

This report reveals that many teachers have found the D&T aspects of the order unhelpful and difficult to understand.

In both D&T and IT the order is, in places, open to differences of interpretation.

The report focuses on particular problems experienced in primary, middle and secondary schools as well as in special schools.
