Plain and Simple Poetry

A book of simple, easy to read poems that were composed in my spare time during Covid lockdown. The poems are inspired by my own experiences, my surroundings and observations.

Some of the poems are sad tales, some happy and some a little bit silly.

I tried to write a poem daily using a prompt from an on-line creative group and I found that I enjoyed writing about any given subject without any pressure.

Sitting down each day for ten minutes was very therapeutic and certainly helped me to relax.

I hope that this little book will inspire others to sit and write each day.

Poetry does not have to be profound or deep, creativity is, I believe, in everybody, we just need to find our own key to our own, unique imagination.
