Edgar Allan Poe

Best known now as a fiction writer, Edgar Allan Poe's poetic works were popular at the time of writing.

Born in 1809, Poe was orphaned in early childhood. He became a journalist after joining the army. He died in 1849, aged 40. This is a collection of his poetry.
