Citizenship Studies for AQA GCSE Short Course - Foundation Edition (Foundation edition)

This foundation edition of the original "Citizenship Studies for AQA GCSE Short Course" supports the teaching and learning of the specification, and can also be used as a general textbook for the Key Stage 4 Citizenship programme of study.

The new text has been written by a leading Citizenship examiner (who is also a specialist in teaching less-able students) and features coverage of the main topics demanded by the specification, including: School, Work and the Local Community, National and European Citizenship and Global Citizenship.

Each topic comprises three themes that help to ensure that students become informed and responsible citizens: rights and responsibilities, decision-making, power and authority, and participation in citizenship activities.

The book also contains advice sections for students on how to plan, carry out and reflect upon coursework activities, and prepare for the demands of the exam.
