Modernising Criminal Justice : Opportunities for Labour

This paper examines the criminal justice system which the Labour Party has inherited from the Conservatives, arguing that it has not been well managed or properly planned by them, and suggesting ways in which it can be improved such as to gain the the public's confidence in its operation.
