Scribende : Academic Writing for Students of English

The process of academic writing can become accessible and as exciting as doing research with the help of Scribende.

Scribende makes the writer reflect about the process of writing on the basis of authentic student papers in literature and linguistics.

Methodologically the Online Scribende consists of four components: an online diagnostic test determining individual writing profiles and individualised learning tracks; an awareness-raising component covering aspects of academic writing; a practising module which is predominantly skills-based; and communal writing tasks offered on the university's learning platform.

The present edition is a printed version of the awareness-raising component, which is Scribende's theoretical module.

This is not a grammatical compendium nor a reference work.
