Based on a travelling exhibition which opened in March 1996 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, this CD-ROM presents more than 475 of the finest works in the National Palace Museum, Taipei.

Formed by the emperors themselves, this extraordinary collection embodies the genius of China's rich artistic tradition. The CD-ROM contains colour images of each masterpiece, including close-up details, together with audio pronunciations of Chinese terms and names.

It also incorporates the ability to unroll precious handscrolls to their full length.
