The lion cub is left hidden in the tall grass of the savannah by his mother, while she goes off to hunt.

Jackals are stalking him, but luckily for him an aged lion sees him first and takes a fancy to him.

The little cub sleeps between his paws while he dozes.

But a younger male lion disturbs them, and there is a fight.

Little lion cub must learn the law of the safari plain, which is as pitiless as the law of the jungle and it, too, may not be denied.
