What would make for a great adventure? Better question, what would make a great adventure for a hedgehog? Find out the answer when Mr. Prickles, a unique hedgehog belonging to a young girl named Lilly, found himself in a bit of an unexpected mess over one particular Christmas break. Synopsis


During her Christmas break, Lilly, a smart and friendly, nine yr. old girl, makes plans to take her pet hedgehog, Mr. Prickles, on a family trip. However, the plans quickly take an unexpected turn when Mr. Prickles finds himself on a completely different plane. Lilly and her family fly to Arizona to be with her grandparents, while Mr. Prickles flies across the ocean to new and exciting places. While away, he happens to make new friends and sees things he had never dreamed of. However, back in the United States, Lilly does her best to keep her worries controlled as her family tries to search for their missing pet hedgehog. Halfway through his adventure, Mr. Prickles encounters an unexpected foe who decides to snatch him up. Lost and kidnapped, Mr. Prickles' fate lies in his family's hopeful efforts, as well as the magical power of Christmas.


About the book and author


Mr. Prickles and His Holiday adventure is the debut book of Leia Kirschner. From an early age, Leia has always had a special place in her heart for great story telling. Whether it be on paper, film, or word of mouth; stories have always been her number one love. Having written dozens of stories in her youth, it wasn't until she graduated from Beloit College in Creative Writing that she took her first step in sharing her stories with the world. Presenting to you here is one she hopes you will enjoy. Fun fact: Mr. Prickles is based on a real hedgehog friend she knows.
