Good Little Girl

On her eleventh birthday, Annette returned home from her favourite playground, dirty and dishevelled. She didn't know what to say when her parents asked what happened.  It would take a very long time for her to understand what really happened that day. Soon after, Annette retreats into herself and her behaviour becomes quietly strange.  Many years later, a friend recommends a 'personal development organisation' and before she knows it, she is absorbed into a cult called Kenja. Forsaking her children, home, job and finances, she devotes herself with a convert's zeal to Kenja's activities. After ten years, Annette finds that the personal changes she believed would happen hadn't, and she finally leaves in need of psychological help.
