This book begins in Christy's antique/gift/espresso shop.

She bought the property and she lives alone and runs the business on her own, with a little help from a local or two in the maintenance department.

She has PTSD & OCD and steps back throughout her life and shares her challenges, while sharing the daily stories from customers, serving customers, sexual harassment, locals, maintaining a huge property along the riverbanks, bordering a scenic, well traveled highway.

She has a dog and several rescue tropical birds that reside within the walls of this unique business.

She is lonely, tired, sad, happy, hard working, craving love, insecure, scared, brave, feisty, kind, sarcastic, rugged, pretty, stressed but loves her world and business.

All of Seattle drives right by her location to hit the ski slopes nearby or various tourist attractions in eastern Washington (uses fictitious names).

She welcomes people from all over the world with open arms, unless they have bad behavior...then look out!

She fights the harsh weather being in the mountains, where she plows her own snow and asks her trusty local to install her truck chains each year.

He is her number one chaser. She shares the many stories of how men and women treat each other in person and behind doors.

Christy has an invisible score card that she adds or deducts points from.

She is appalled how difficult relationships are in her own life and so many others!

This barista loves every minute of it but wishes she could conquer love.

Christy shares fantastic recipes that a barista would concoct, in the beverage and dessert worlds.

Most ingredients include espresso or coffee in them but there are also Italian sodas, smoothies and so much more.

Christy heads back upstairs after she closes shop, to ponder life, lovelessness, her past, future and fantasies.

She snuggles her dog, craving a man and falls asleep to arise again for the public.

She lives in a very scenic area and knows the challenges.
