Charlee and Her Unlikely Friends (Large type / large print ed)

This is a story of a young "veggie girl" named Charlee who lives by the ocean. One day at school, her teacher introduces the class to some new students that become unlikely friends. It seems that these animal friends can also talk! Charlee soon enjoys playing with new friends and invites the Cow, Pig and Chick over for dinner. Charlee creates an awesome vegetarian meal for her new friends, but they never show up. The following day at school, Charlee was told that her new found friends heard rumors and had become suspicious. These new friends thought they were on the menu as something delicious! But after an exchange of their views, they all soon realized they were all a bit confused and they all loved healthy vegetarian meals.
