Education and Training is designed to help students build their examination skills while bringing them up-to-date with recent developments in the sociology of education.

Separate chapters are devoted to areas that now require equal treatment - class, gender and ethnic inequalities in educational achievement - and are weighted towards recent debates and thinking.

Accessible text is therefore combined with interesting exercises and practical examination advice.
