The Wiley Organic Reactions Database

The Wiley Organic Reaction Database takes the content from two series known as THE resources for organic chemists, and creates new, improved, and faster research paths by placing the content in structure, substructure, and reaction searchable format.

The synthetic protocols will continue to be tested in an independent laboratory prior to publication, and accompanying information will include the property data (melting point, spectral data) as well as an explanation of the scopes and limits of the reaction type.

Searching will be enabled using the most common chemical drawing software (available as part of the product - no need to purchase separate software), and Cross-Ref will allow linking from a reference to the full-text article.

Additionally, new content will continue to be added by the same board members on an annual basis, in quarterly installments.

The product development is guided both by internal and external expert organic chemistry advisors.
