Circle of celestial ink   milk white   silk light // its wane and waxing   jibe with ocean flow and ebb // to cause the slightest hair to blow   in wind or wave

In the soft light of the moon, Betti Kahn recalls with somnambulant certainty the many oceans she has crossed during her life, the shores she reached, the people who accompanied her and have passed on - her beloved husband, siblings, parents, friends.

Reaching for the dreamy, mystical, and spiritual realms, her poems seem guided by a third eye, infused with love, grief, and the wisdom of ancient Jewish tradition.
