Yellow Fiction: Familiar Settings - Yellow Fiction : Familiar Settings Pack

Each Literacy Centre contains: six copies of a core text to be used by the whole class; six copies of a guided text aimed at the average reader; six copies for more able readers; six copies for less able readers; and a teacher's book. Included are six copies of "Once There were Giants" by Martin Waddell, "On Friday Something Funny Happened" by John Prater, "Leon and Bob" by Simon Williams" and "Jamaica's Find" by Juanita Havill.

These are all suitable for Year 1 term 1 range requirements of the National Literacy Strategy Framework for teaching.

The teacher's book contains shared and guided reading activities plus photocopiable sheets for each of the books in the centre.
