A real classic. With original and attractive images. This is one of the greatest children's books.Literary AdventuresIncludes linguistics, especially various terms and words.Read again for the first time since childhood. The Jungle (1894) is a collection of stories by English author Rudhard Kipling.

These stories were first published in magazines in 1893-94.

The main publications contain pictures of some of Rudiar's father, John Lockwood Kipling.

Kipling was born in India and spent the first six years of his childhood there.

After living in England for about ten years, he returned to India and worked there for about six and a half years.

These stories were written while Kipling lived in Vermont.

There is evidence that it was written for his daughter Josephine, who died in 1899 at the age of six, after discovering the author's first rare copy of the author's handmade note to his young daughter at the Wimpole National Trust in Cambridge in 2010.

The book (as well as the stories in The Second Forest, followed in 1895, which includes five other stories about Mowgli) are myths that use animals humanely to teach moral lessons.

For example, the provisions of the Forest Law establish laws for the safety of individuals, families and communities.

Kipling put into it almost everything he knew or heard or dreamed about in the Indian jungle.

Other readers have interpreted this work as an allegory of politics and society of that time.

The most famous of these are three stories about an abandoned "puppy human" Muggle who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle.

Other popular stories are probably "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi", the story of a heroic mangos, and "Toomai of the Elephants", the story of a young working elephant.

Like many of Kipling's works, each story is preceded by a verse, and another story leads to their success.
