This is the first reference for the small animal practitioner dedicated exclusively to surgery on the oral and maxillofacial region in the dog and cat.

It includes all of the basic procedures in dental surgery, from basic extractions to orthodontics, routine periodontal and endodontic techniques, as well as construction of crowns and bridges.

In contrast with other texts, however, the coverage is greatly extended to include practical guidance on maxillofacial trauma repair, surgery of absesses, cyts and tumours, the palate, temporomandibular joint, and surgical approaches to the ear, nose and throat.
