Wales Arts Review: Valley, City, Village

The first adventure of The Valley, The City, The Village project was the Welsh trip to India, reflected within the pages of this Wales Arts Review commemorative special.

Sophie McKeand, Natalie Ann Holborow, Sion Tomos Owen, and Gary Raymond travelled from north to south of the sub-continent, starting in New Delhi, and then travelling by train to Varanasi, one of the seven Holy Cities of Hinduism that sits on the banks of the Ganges; thence on to Kolkata -- The "cultural heart and mind of India" -- before experiencing traditional village life at the Sunderbans national park.

The Wales Arts Review magazine 'Valley, City, Village' special charts the journey from New Delhi to Kolkata, but more importantly it explores the creative journey of the writers.
