When Wynfaleth is forced to face her past her life is left in shambles and her sons are unwittingly dragged into a life she never wanted for them.  

Wynfaleth kept her past life a secret from her family for twenty three years but after an attack on her family during her eldest twin sons birthday part she is forced to reveal her secret, she is a warden. She fights to keep her secret tucked away as her dream life begins to unravel but as things grow more chaotic and her sons begin to develop abilities and question her actions she is forced to share her past with them and send them away in an effort to save them all while trying to keep her family together though it is slowly drifting apart.

While on their way to a safe haven called Haygen Amerigo, Godwin, and Palmero are thrust into a new world and each of them are struggling to adjust. Amerigo's addictive personality is being used against him, Godwin's lack of confidence in his own merit makes him question everything, and Palmero's over attachment to his mother breeds contempt towards her. Unbeknownst to the brothers there is a wedge being thrust between them while they try to navigate their new found reality and the realization that their lives will never be the same.
