This CD-Rom is one in a series of CD-ROMs which each uses the whales theme to make learning fun. "Surf into Science 1" is divided into five sections each of which includes a series of clear presentations and explanations and easy to use interactive activities, teaching the basics of the topic.

This learning is reinforced with simple fun games and puzzles presented by characters such as Little Blue the Whale.
