PAth to Literacy : A Phonological Awareness Intervention for Young Children

PAth to Literacy is a research-based, Tier 2 supplemental curriculum teaching children ages 3 to 5 phonological awareness skills, specifically blending words, segmenting words, identifying parts of words, and identifying first sounds in words.

The curriculum addresses alphabet instruction, including letter names and letter-sound correspondences.

This program is designed to be delivered to groups of about 3 students in preschool settings and can be used in kindergarten as well.

It is scripted and easily administered by a teacher or aide in the classroom.

The curriculum consists of 12 units, including 3 lessons in each unit, and progress through the curriculum is dependent on student performance.

Each lesson takes only 10 to 15 minutes to deliver each day. A boxed set containing a spiral-bound guide and 141 perforated picture card sheets.
