Science Access Pack

Collins Science Access Pack provides a completely new approach to teaching science knowledge and understanding to lower-ability pupils.

It can be used in conjunction with Collins Science Connections to provide even more support for lower-ability pupils or alongside any other science course.Collins Science Access helps to motivate and interest lower ability pupils in science by using varied approaches to each topic.Collins Science Access Pack is fully-photocopiable.

It uses a wide variety of activities to:* help pupils to really understand science ideas, not just to fill in gaps in sentences* enhance pupils' familiarity with scientific vocabulary and language use so that this isn't a barrier to their understanding* make pupils develop their practical skills rather than just relying on copying others* support pupils' general literacy, numeracy and learning skills to help them access science ideas* reward those pupils who do not normally get rewards for completing each module to keep them motivated
