Dendroclimatology: progress and prospects - v. 11

With this volume we wish to bring together the world's leading practitioners and users of dendroclimatology to address the question: what has been learned, using tree rings, about natural climate variability and its environmental and social impacts? Our objectives: to review and synthesize the results of the last 30 years, and to identify the needs and opportunities for future work, and: to provide an authoritative evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of dendroclimatic approaches to reconstructing past climate.
