A witty and unusual tale of two youngsters who combine forces to liberate mistreated animals from an island off the coast of Connemara - just like Che Guavara liberated Cuba His dad in jail and his mum away campaigning for the environment, Lorcan is sent to stay with his Aunt Peig down in Connemara - to the very house where Che Guavara once met Lorcan's grandfather.

Maybe it's his asthma that has made him a fighter, maybe it's the family history of supporting the underdog...whatever it is, Lorcan finds himself caught up first in Operation Snoop, then Operation Snatch as his new friend Blaise draws him into a crusade to rescue some ill-treated animals from a nearby island.
