Shamans of the Blind Country

Documentary directed by film-maker Michael Oppitz about the faith healing shamans of North West Nepal.

Looking in-depth at the history of shamanism, Oppitz spent 18 months studying the ancient practice in the Himalayan region of Dhaulagiri, and in this documentary presents his take on the belief that those deemed to be shamans can interact with the spirit world, bringing with them the ability to heal.
