The Battle of Khe Sanh - The Fires of Hell

Three documentaries about the Battle of Khe Sanh which took place between January and April 1968, during the Vietnam War.

The first programme tells the story of the campaign that lasted 70 days and 70 nights and how, despite having significantly greater manpower, the North Vietnamese were eventually forced to retreat.

The second programme focuses on the fight that took place in the air during the battle and the pivotal role played by the US Air Force.

The final instalment looks at the other battles and campaigns the US Marines were involved in during the war, including Operation Piranha.
