As a nuclear satellite fails in orbit and begins hurtling towards the Earth, a heartbroken woman, Claire (Dommartin) has her life turned upside down when her car collides with two bank robbers.

After agreeing to help them smuggle their stolen cash to Paris, she meets a mysterious man named Trevor (Hurt) who is also on the run and in danger.

Meanwhile, a revolutionary new technology is being invented which will allow blind people to see, but could it cause more harm than good?
