Health and Safety Training Toolkit

The Health and Safety Training Toolkit is a practical guide on how to prepare and deliver health and safety training and instructions to employees, allowing employers to fulfil their legal duties under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

The Toolkit provides general guidance on the assessment of individual training needs, as well as the tools to provide training in seven core health and safety areas.

Each module includes a training workshop with; * a step by step presentation educating employees in essential health and safety policies and procedures *background notes, providing an up-to-date analysis of each health and safety area *OHP/Powerpoint slides reinforcing the key points for each training workshop *handouts - containing practical advice that employees can refer to after the training workshop is complete *roleplays - creating interactive scenarios that employees can use to enhance their understanding and practice new skills *case studies - using real life examples to stimulate group discussion
