A Year of Religious Festivals: My Jewish Year

Following the calendar year, this book explores the ways in which the main festivals that highlight a Jewish child's year are celebrated.

The ceremonies, food, clothing, stories and other customs associated with such festivals as Rosh Hashanah, Purim, Pesach, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah are detailed in simple terms and colourful photos.

A special feature is eight-year-old Adam's diary which provides a child's perspective on what it's like to be involved in each of the festivals.
