Winston Churchill

In this biography of Churchill from birth to death the author considers the soldier and foreign corresponent in India, the Sudan and South Africa, the brilliant young politician of the pre-1914 era who acted as a daring initiator of the Gallipoli and Antwerp campaigns at the start of World War I, his chequered career in the 1920s and his wilderness years in the 1930s and his years as Prime Minister.
