German GCSE Role Plays for AQA - Higher

Each workbook contains 30 German GCSE role-plays, presented just as in the speaking examination.

Together they give students the opportunity to prepare and practise, with advice from the examiners on how to achieve a high score. For each role-play, the prompts for the candidate are shown on a right-hand page.

On the same page are guidelines about how to prepare the replies and space for students to make notes about what they will say in response to each prompt. On the back of each page are the instructions for the examiner; these will be used by the teacher or role-play partner.

The examiner's role is also provided in recorded form so that students can practise independently. Finally, each role-play includes an explanation of the marking instructions for examiners, so that students can see exactly what kind of response is need to achieve the maximum marks.

At the back of each workbook is a list of key vocabulary.

It gives candidates all the practice and advice they could need to enable them to feel confident and again a good mark in the role-play speaking test.
