Millie smuggles Max home with her and discovers he was kidnapped from his home in Brussels (so not only can he speak, but he's bilingual) and given a voice.

The toy company, Playmatic, have a dastardly plan to create the must-have Christmas toy of the year - talking cats!

Max is one of the prototypes and the lab is determined to get him back.

Unknown to the technicians, though, Max is going back of his own accord - but this time to rescue his friends - especially the gorgeous French tortoiseshell, Celeste\'85\f1\fs18 \par }
