Big house, smart school, horses, swimming pools...Grace Foster-Brown's life looks like something out of a glossy magazine.

Jay Ward is a graffiti artist living in a cramped high-rise flat on a scruffy London council estate.

What could bring these two together? Gracie's idyllic life comes crashing down when her father is jailed for fraud, and she moves with her mother and little brother to a run-down house which backs on to Jay's estate.

When she's bullied for being the posh girl at the local comprehensive, Jay comes to Gracie's rescue.

The two become friends - and find they have more in common than they could ever have imagined.

They fall in love and plan a future together. When Jay is accused of a crime, Gracie knows he is innocent and leaps to his defence.

But their different backgrounds come to the surface and threaten to split them apart.

Against all odds, can their love survive?
